Round 6 Super 2 Series – Sandown 500 Race Report - Adam Marjoram

Image
Round 6 of the Championship, the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 has been run and won, but for me it was a tough weekend in the office. They say motor racing is character building, and if you can’t take disappointment don’t go motor racing. Well last weekend proved those statements to be true, especially after ending Bathurst with a blown engine. My strong performance during the year has taken a battering in the last two rounds. Stick with me and I will let you know how it unfolded. [More]

Best of the Best in Supercars

Records are black, round, and made of a form of plastic. Or they’re what is created when a previous level is exceeded. People such as basketballer Michael Jordan, Red Bull balloonist Felix Baumgartner, or movie franchise “The Avengers” have created records.

Project Monaro

“We’re here to stay”.
That’s the message that underpins an exciting mission being undertaken by Holden, veteran all makes parts supplier ACDelco, other long-term Holden suppliers and business partners, and a team of dedicated, long-term, Holden employees. The premise is simple: take an iconic car, restore it, give it away. The devil, they say, is in the details. The car is a 210,000km 2004 VZ spec, Monaro. The restoration is in partnership with companies that includes Holden’s own ACDelco. The give-away part is for a very lucky person that purchases Holden or ACDelco parts, or visits a Holden Dealer service centre. [More]

Corvette C8

General Motors have confirmed details and American pricing for its forthcoming 2020 Corvette Stingray. It's a mid-engined machine, will come in a couple of trim levels, and will kick off at under USD$60,000. The engine configuration puts it into the same sphere as Ferrari, McLaren, and Lamborghini. Importantly, it will be produced in factory fitted right hand drive, and is due to start production later this year. [More]
