On Thursday 23rd October Rare Spares Gold Coast held a Project Partner night for Rare Spares Loyalty Club and Rare Owner members on a perfect spring evening.

Attendees were able to access a store wide 20% discount for the evening, with many eager to access the huge savings, scooping up some bargains for their own projects.

The Kustoms of Australia Gold Coast car club was happy to be involved, cooking a delicious BBQ for those in attendance.

John Bowe was the special guest for the evening and spent time signing autographs and mingling with the crowd who were keen to hear tales from the racing legend.

Rare Spares Gold Coast store owner Reg Vine was keen to get involved himself by debuting his just completed, fully restored 1956 Corvette.

“It was great to bring the corvette out finally. JB absolutely loved it and even took some selfies in it!” laughed Reg Vine.

Another attraction for the evening was the great prizes on offer. A double pass to the gold Coast 600, a Rare Spare merchandise pack and a $100 Rare Spares voucher were all given away to lucky winners.

“It was a fun relaxed evening and we look forward to the next one.”

Rare Spares Project Partner Night at Brisbane South

Rare Spares Brisbane South was thrilled to hold a fantastic Project Partner night recently.

With V8 Supercar driver Jason Bright in attendance and a host of prizes on offer including tickets to the Ipswich 400, product vouchers and lucky door prizes, not to mention 20% off store wide, it was a huge night!

Over 50 great cars turned up for the evening and there was a good crowd of local car club members and of course some Jason Bright fans in attendance.

“The event was scheduled to run from 6pm -8pm however we didn’t close the doors until 9.30pm!” said store manager Bruce Waldie.

To feed the masses, the great team from the East Coast Muscle Car Club Inc worked their culinary skills on the BBQ.

Jason Bright was certainly a crowd favourite with many lining up for autographs and photo with the V8 Supercar driver.

Many attendees walked away happy with prizes and also some great new parts for their cars thanks to the 20% discount on offer during the evening.

Rare Spares Newcastle Distributor Wolfy’s Auto One store, in conjunction with the 48-78 Holden Car Club, host an auto enthusiast event every second Saturday of the month called Wolfy’s Classic Car Park Up.

Classic car enthusiasts come together to share their passion and raise money for the club and charities with a sausage sizzle and display of some of the finest rides around.

“The club hosts the event, but they’re non-discriminatory, they’ll even let Fords come,” said Lance from Wolfy’s Auto One.

The 48-78 Holden Car Club’s Events Coordinator Gary said, “It’s a bit of a social gathering for anyone with a passion for older cars, but everyone is welcome.”

Wolfy’s supports them by offering store discounts and novelty prizes for vehicle owners.

The club is the oldest Holden car club in Australia and has over 80 members. They’re looking forward to soon redeeming a club banner from the Rare Spares Loyalty Club.

You can catch them at the upcoming charity event, Tilligary Motorama, at the Tilligary Sports Club on May 18th.
